HEAR THE DIFFERENCE
Come and play one for yourself.
We have three demonstration instruments at our showroom at 1, Queen's Road Melbourne,
Our smallest model, the Etude, is in some ways the most impressive. About the size of a cabinet piano, it delivers the sound of a full-sized organ, with three channels of sound over five speakers. You will not find anything else in its class at the $20,000 price point.
Use the link above to make a booking, email, or call us,and come and see (and hear) for yourself.

A local agent, for local people.
My name is Lee Bradsahw, and I am the Australian agent for Mixtuur, a Dutch company that has been building quality Haupterk instruments for many years. I am an organist myself, and have been using Hauptwek for my practice for a long time. I understand the requirements for the local market, and have worked closely with Mixtuur to produce a product that meets Australian expectations, particularly in terms of piston layouts, pedalboard size and shape, and swell shoe placement.
I have a showroom at one, Queen's Road Melbourne 3004, where you can make an appointment to come and play them for yourself.
Your selected instrument will be built to order, and can be customised as required. Lead time from order to delivery is expected to be three to four months.

WHY
HAUPTWERK?
The Modern Approach
The advantage of having a home practice instrument is fairly clear. Practice when you like, in the comfort of your own home. When the instrument is always available, frequent practice becomes practical, and your playing can only improve as a result.
The traditional approach to building a home practice instrument has been to build a standard console, with a standard stop layout, then squeeze a series of digitised sounds into each stop.
While it is then possible to have different voicings, the tonal design inherent in different organ-building schools is lost. The balance of eight-foot stops and mixtures on a North German baroque organ is completely different for an English Romantic instrument; and different again for French.
Because Hauptwerk takes not only its sounds, but the stop lists, from real organs, the effect is much closer to playing a real instrument. Add to this the fact that Hauptwerk can also reproduce the accoustic of the building, and the model is as complete as it can be.

Choosing a home organ is an important decision, and it's important to deal with someone who really understands the requirements of the modern Classical Organist. I aim to cater for all levels, from beginner to advanced.
